Telemarketer / B2B

 

A part-time opportunity is available for a Telemarketer-B2B with our well-established company located the North Shore, Massachusetts. We are looking for someone to make outbound calls and help set appointments. Your focus will consist of setting sales appointments for our sales representatives. This person will be responsible for calling prospects, qualifying, and appointment setting.

 

Our ideal candidate is a detail-oriented individual with excellent people and communication skills and a high level of positive energy and enthusiasm. Your goal is to persuade potential customers to set an appointment for one of our sales representatives to deliver a live presentation.

 

Your duties will also include answering questions from customers and verify customer information such as name, address and appointment time. You would be required to maintain accurate call records, acquire all possible product knowledge to accurately describe features and benefits, and act as a forum for information to potential customers.

 

To be successful, the appointment setter will need to keep a strong focus on prospecting for new customers every day (this is not an account management position or an outside sales position). This requires disciplined and consistent phone calling (50-75+ calls/day) and having conversations with upper-level managers and executives. The ability to schedule an appointment for an outside sales representative is an essential component of this job function.

Job Requirements:

 

·         Must be professional, conversational, friendly and outgoing

·         Must be self-motivated and able to work independently or with a team

·         Ability to understand the customer’s needs and inform others of those needs

·         Conduct pre-call qualification of leads

·         Effectively communicate pertinent information to the sales representatives

·         Respond back within a timely manner

·         Basic computer skills required – Word/Excel

·         Telemarketing/Appointment setting experience is a plus

·         Experience making outbound calls & Scheduling Appointments
